Can I keep personal and business money completely separate?

Yes. Each book — personal or business, UAE or India — owns its own accounts, entries, budgets, dashboard and reports. Nothing is ever added together unless you deliberately pick more than one book in the consolidated view.

Can I run more than one business under a single login?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add as many books as you need in Settings → Your books. Each one gets its own name, colour, country, currency and tax calendar. You switch between them from the book row at the top of the dashboard; every figure on screen follows the book you picked.

What stops an entry from ending up in the wrong book?

Accepted Answer

Books are locked. An entry shows a small lock beside its book name, and moving it takes two deliberate steps — choose "Move to …" and then confirm a warning naming the book it leaves and the book it joins. Editing a category, date or amount never shifts an entry to another book.

Question 4

Does the consolidated view merge my money?

Accepted Answer

Only while you are looking at it, and only for the books you tick. It shows one line per book in that book's own currency, and it never changes the underlying records.

Question 5

I earn in dirhams and rupees. Does one login handle both?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Give each book its main currency — AED for your Dubai books, INR for your India books — and every screen for that book reads in that currency. There is no hidden conversion: a rupee entry stays a rupee entry.

Where does the exchange rate come in?

Accepted Answer

Only in the currency converter, and when you deliberately record an entry in a currency other than the account's own. The original amount and the rate are both kept with the entry.

How do I upload a bank statement to the right account?

Accepted Answer

Choose the destination account first, then upload the PDF, CSV, Excel file or photos. Before anything is saved you see a confirmation naming the exact number of entries, the account, the book and the currency. Only that one account is touched, and its opening balance is never changed.

Will uploading the same statement twice duplicate my entries?

Accepted Answer

No. Lines already recorded in that account are skipped, and the skipped dates, names and amounts are listed so you can check nothing genuine was left out.

Question 9

Can invoices be read automatically?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload an invoice on the Invoices page and the date, supplier, total, tax amount, invoice number and category are read for you. It stays an editable draft until you file it into the book you chose, with the original document attached.

Question 10

Do UAE and India books follow different tax years?

Accepted Answer

Yes. UAE books run January to December; India books run April to March. Each book's Tax pack uses its own calendar, so nothing has to be split by hand.

Question 11

What does the Tax pack produce?

Accepted Answer

Profit and loss, an expense breakdown by category, capital assets, VAT or GST summary, revenue and expense registers, a missing-information check, and a downloadable PDF return with deductions and taxable income.

Can I give my accountant access without handing over my login?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create an accountant link for one book. It is PIN protected, expires after 60 days, is read-only, and opens straight into that book's Tax pack for the year you choose.

Are my numbers ever changed automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. Opening balances, cash entries and imported lines are left exactly as recorded. Nothing is merged, rounded away or moved for you.

Who can see my books?

Only you, plus anyone you deliberately invite or share an accountant link with. Each book can be shared on its own.
